The “other world” part of the novel is largely divided into two sections.
The first is the early period, where various countries and races fight meaningless wars purely for their own benefit, shedding endless blood and tears and becoming stained with regret.
And the latter period, where “judgment bringers” arrive to put a finishing blow on the collapsing world, and the wounded, bleeding survivors struggle like crazy to stop them.
If in the early period, the so-called villains were mostly acting not out of pure evil but for their own gain or the interests of their factions, then—
in the latter period, they were just lunatics saying things like, “Let’s burn everything and reset this damn world.”
It was a true pre-apocalyptic state.
‘The early part is mostly conflicts and growth of Kim Yuhyeon and the surrounding characters, while the latter is basically a death match where everyone is trying to kill everyone.’
And the ones who led that endless death match were the so-called Seven Wings.
They were introduced because, as Kim Yuhyeon’s power rapidly inflated, the author hastily prepared them as counter villains.
The problem was that they were forced into the story too quickly and retrofitted into the setting, so the background and motivations of each Wing were explained very poorly.
Even now, it was the same situation.
‘Damn author! Even if you were lazy with setup, why is the Four Wing’s older brother’s tragic death happening right here?!’
The only family she had, her older brother, died in war. After that, she was left alone and suffered indescribable misery and hardship. Eventually, before her eyes appeared distorted faith, false beliefs, and twisted power! End of explanation!
‘The setup is way too thin! I couldn’t even properly complain back then, but seriously, this is terrible writing!’
Readers had demanded proper explanation, but since the latter half was filled with battle scenes, it was brushed aside.
In the end, there was no explanation of where the Four Wing’s suffering came from or where her brother had died. The story simply continued.
Even for devoted readers, when the author acted like that, there was nothing to understand.
When reading the novel, it was just “Wow, the setup is so sloppy. The ending really went off the rails!” But now, being “inside” the story, it was an immediate “I’m screwed!”
‘Of all people, it had to be the Four Wing. Of all things, fire rain. And of all places, the castle is the Demon King Faker!’
He ran. He ran like a madman.
Even as flames threatened to devour him, even as Nudia soldiers hurriedly loaded crossbow bolts in shock, Si-on did not stop. No—he could not stop.
The Four Wing, Trisha Faker, annihilated the Hispania Kingdom single-handedly.
The terrifying part was that even when Kim Yuhyeon chased her down with the intent to kill, she only engaged him lightly, using traps to restrain him rather than fighting directly.
For her, what mattered was the extinction of all life—and the destruction of the continent.
Even as her heart was pierced by Kim Yuhyeon in the end, she only regretted that she could not kill more humans.
‘That insane woman! Even other Wings found her disturbing! If I can stop her, then the Hispania Kingdom will not collapse! My Klauzen territory won’t collapse either! That alone raises my survival rate by at least 10 percent!’
As long as that woman didn’t turn into an enemy, the Hispania Kingdom wouldn’t be delisted.
His home, the Klauzen domain, wouldn’t collapse.
Thinking that way, Si-on felt strength return to him.
“Jimmy Faker! Who the hell is Faker?! Answer me if you can hear me! Faker senpai!”
Clang! Ching!
“…She’s strong.”
Kim Yuhyeon, except for Rido, had not exchanged blows with anyone this prolonged in a long time.
Even though his body had not fully recovered, to block his sword this well—
as his master said, the world was wide, there were many strong people, and even more insane ones.
“You’re quite good,” said the female knight, Rishikida.
Outwardly calm, she was inwardly surprised that a genius from Nudia could match her attacks like this.
“I didn’t expect someone like you in the Klauzen territory. If you had stayed at the castle, you might have wiped out all the knights there yourself.”
“I would have killed them all already. I just held back because there’s a nice opponent in front of me.”
“You’re insane.”
“I’ve only been rolling around in hell where you can’t stay sane.”
Kim Yuhyeon tightened his grip on his sword.
His opponent was strong, but not unbeatable.
If his body were in normal condition, he would have toyed with her before finishing her.
Even now, he had only been reading her sword patterns.
Now that analysis was complete.
All that remained was to cut her throat.
“Jimmy Faker!”
Just as he was about to attack, he turned his head toward the shout.
Even in battle, lowering guard was fatal—but that voice belonged to the man he had been watching.
“Who the hell is Faker?! Answer me! Faker senpai!”
A man was running like a mad dog, shouting a name, ignoring the burning battlefield and enemy crossbows.
“What is that idiot….”
Rishikida’s eyes widened.
The man had found someone and was carrying a soldier on his back.
A fragile body, yet that strength was unbelievable.
“Lord!”
“Protect the young master!”
“Form ranks!”
“Lord? That guy is the Klauzen heir?”
Rishikida, stunned, momentarily forgot she was in battle and watched him.
A noble heir risking his life to save a single soldier.
Even under enemy fire.
That nobleman was betting his life for one soldier.
“Damn it!”
Rishikida quickly ducked.
A strand of hair was cut clean off.
“You’re distracted in battle.”
“You didn’t strike seriously either.”
Kim Yuhyeon had left openings on purpose.
“You are Si-on Klauzen?”
“Yes.”
“Heh.”
She stepped back.
“Let’s stop here. Both sides are heavily wounded.”
“…You expect me to believe that?”
“I am a knight of honor. I swear on my name. This battle is enough.”
Kim Yuhyeon clicked his tongue but stepped back.
Rishikida looked once more at Si-on.
‘What kind of man… is he?’
“YOU IDIOT!! DO YOU WANT TO DIE?!”
“L-Lady Lilith, please calm down…”
“Just die! I’ll kill you myself!”
Si-on was being beaten mercilessly.
If not for Lilith, he would have been turned into a pincushion by arrows.
Her charm magic had blurred enemy vision, and her remaining mana had been nearly exhausted.
“Si-on.”
Count Rihten looked at him with concern.
“…I’ll explain about the lady next to me later.”
“Sounds like a long story.”
And so, everyone stared at him.
Si-on sighed.
More trouble was coming.
‘The latter half of the novel has messy settings. I can’t even predict where anyone appears.’
If he was careless, everything would collapse.
‘If only this novel had been finished… damn it.’
